Teaching old dogs,
new tech…

Murray Haven Homes was lucky enough to be the recipient of one of the Murray River Council Community Grants.  Our grant titled “Teaching old dogs new Tech” was all about getting our aged care residents to learn and become more proficient with iPad technology and guide them on how to explore and use the internet, play games and face time families and friends.

Jo got small groups together and with a few instructions sent them into the world wide web. It was a great success once they got the swing of it they were looking up all kinds of things which is what is it all about, learning and keeping your mind active.  Some residents were able to enjoy doing exercise classes  from the comfort of their room through their tv.

Thank you to the Murray River Council for the chance to be

able to give our residents this terrific opportunity.
