Donald Taylor

Don grew up in Sydney, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science and a Diploma of Education from Sydney University. He was appointed to Barham High School in February 1979 and has been teaching here since then, currently holding the positions of head teacher of Maths, Music and LOTE and VET Coordinator.

When he married Leslie in 1990, he became step-father to five sons, and in the next three years, three more sons were added to the family. During his time in Barham, Don has been President of the Barham Squash Club, Assistant Secretary of the Border Football Club, team manager of the Koondrook Barham Football Club Colts, Front of House Manager for the Golden Rivers Theatre Group, and a member of the Koondrook Barham Baptist Church.

When approached to join the Board of Murray Haven Homes, he saw it as another opportunity to contribute to the community that has been so welcoming.
