Murray Haven Homes Newsletter Edition 5, 2020
In this edition of the Murray Haven Homes newsletter, we celebrate Father’s Day. Although it was a little different this year, it was special to be able to have a BBQ at the back of the facility, and listen to music from our wonderful Dave Shannon. For Aged care Employee Day, the staff at Murray Haven were treated to some delicious home-made goodies, and a warm and fuzzy bag for each staff member in appreciation of the hard work they do for our residents. This was topped off by some hand-made artwork made by the residents for each staff member.
The residents expressed what they are most grateful for on International Gratitude Day, holding up posters and getting their picture taken. We have one or two residents who got a bit cheeky with this activity too! On this note, we also received an external visit from the Barham Primary School, who presented Murray Haven with a hand-made poster expressing their thanks for the staff continuing to care for the elderly during the Covid-19 pandemic.
